As for clarification, that is that I am in fact in the Navy. There are a lot of "sailors", I don't know how many but it has ranged from 8,000 to 12,000 that are currently serving support functions on the ground in various locations like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Djibouti. Bad for me, being in the desert, good for you, as me being here prevents things like a "draft" aka a significant increase in the population flow from the US to Canada.
